Reports and signed documents
Generate EUDR and FSMA 204 packs and other reports as signed documents, and let anyone check a copy on the public verification page.
Reports turn your lots, sites and certificates into documents for buyers, auditors and authorities. Every report is signed, so whoever receives a copy can check that it came from A-REX Platform and was not changed.
Generate a report
- Open Reports. The Catalog tab groups reports by category: Compliance, Traceability, Inventory, Certificates, Audit and Sustainability. Reports for other countries are hidden; use Show all jurisdictions to see them.
- Select Generate on a report. The Generate report panel opens.
- Under What to include, choose the options, such as the lots or the period.
- Under Document, choose the File format, the Language and the Time zone.
- Select Generate. The report is prepared in the background and appears under Runs as Ready.
You can close the page while it is prepared. Reports also come from dashboards (Export as report), automations, the assistant and connected systems; Runs lists them all with who requested each.
Schedule a report
- In Reports, select Schedule on a report in Catalog, or New schedule in the Schedules tab.
- Choose the options as for a single report, then under When choose Repeat (Every day, Every week, Every month or Custom (cron)), the Time and the Time zone.
- Turn on Notify me to get a notification in the console bell when each report is ready or fails.
- Select Create schedule.
Each schedule shows its Next run and Last run. Edit or Delete it in Schedules; reports already generated stay under Runs.
EUDR and FSMA 204 packs
- EUDR due diligence statement evidence (for companies in the EU) gathers, for the lots you choose, what an EU operator needs for a due diligence statement: the geolocation of every farm of origin, harvest dates and quantities, the deliveries, the certificates with their evidence level, and a checklist of what is missing. Choose Include farm locations only when the receiver needs them: plot locations can identify producers.
- Shipment EUDR pack takes the lots of one shipment, or its Deliveries, and the lots they were made from. Choose the GeoJSON file format to get the plots as a file the EU Information System imports. See Reports for exporters.
- FSMA 204 traceability records produces the sortable spreadsheet the FDA can ask for: key data elements of each critical tracking event, the lots they created, and the records still missing.
Open them in Reports › Catalog › Compliance. For a whole lineage, select Prepare with the assistant: it checks the lot and every lot it came from, lists what is missing and drafts the requests for the missing evidence.
Other reports
In Reports › Catalog:
- Inventory, Mass balance, Certificate validity, Recall scope, a report of every recorded event of one lot, Audit trail, EPCIS events of lots, Carbon and sustainability attestations and Support requests to A-REX.
- For exporters and suppliers: Shipment EUDR pack, Origins and plots register, Supplier evidence, Harvest and production by season, Processing output ÷ input, Certified volume reconciliation, Exports by commodity code and destination and Data quality. See Reports for exporters, suppliers and plots.
- Declared footprint register, under Sustainability: every carbon footprint a supplier or another third party declared for your products and lots, exactly as declared, never added up. See Footprints your suppliers declared.
- Certification audit pack, under Certificates: for a certification body's auditor, the certificates of one or more types in force over the audit period, certified volume against volume delivered with the certificate, the lots, the deliveries, the changes and what is missing. See A certification audit.
- Group consolidated: EUDR and suppliers, on the organization's Reports page rather than in a company's catalog: the EUDR volumes and supplier evidence of the companies where you hold a role, naming the companies left out. See Your group's companies together.
- UNTP product passport of a lot, exported from the lot page. See Export a lot's passport.
Signed documents
A PDF carries its signature inside the file. Other formats come with a signed manifest, a small file that lists the document's fingerprint. Open a run in Reports › Runs to Download the document and see its Fingerprints and Signature: Signed by, the Level (B-T when a trusted time-stamping authority dated the signature, B-B without a time-stamp) and Download manifest or Download signature (.p7s) for formats other than PDF. A UNTP passport also shows Digital signature: the company identity it was signed as.
If you ticked Record the document's fingerprint on the public ledger, an approver confirms it (Review and approve under Anchoring), and the fingerprint is then recorded on the ledger of the lot, so anyone can confirm later that the document existed unchanged on that date.
Files are kept until the date shown, or until you select Delete files. The fingerprints stay, so copies already shared can still be checked.
Anyone can verify a copy
The receiver of a document does not need an account. They open the public Verify a document page, at /verify on the console's address (or you send them the link from Open the verification page), and drop the file.
- The file's fingerprint is computed in their browser. By default only the fingerprint is sent, and the file stays on their device.
- Generated by A-REX Platform and unaltered means these exact bytes match a document A-REX Platform generated. Changing a single byte gives a different fingerprint.
- To check the signature too, they turn on Also verify the signature (sends the file). The file is checked in memory and not stored.
A signed PDF can also be checked in any PDF reader that validates digital signatures, and a fingerprint recorded on the public ledger can be looked up there, without going through A-REX. Verification shows that a document is unchanged and who signed it; it does not make its contents true.
